Taco Shop robbery

SAN DIEGO — A man ordered food at a City Heights taco shop, then grabbed cash from the register and ran away Saturday, San Diego police said.

The thief walked into Taco Si Señor on El Cajon Boulevard, at 49th Street, about 10:10 a.m. and ordered food. He handed money to the clerk, but when the clerk opened the register, the fake customer reached over, grabbed money from the drawer and ran, police Officer Frank Cali said.

Witnesses described the thief as Asian, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and possibly with a mustache. He wore a gray hooded jacket.

  1. The mustache should have been the first indicator

  2. This is getting out of hand. It sounds like DJ Nightstick needs to return from overseas and start regulating. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of California burritos.
